AUTOPSY / FIELD NOTES

A machine.
Made understandable.

Four cars are available: choose one from the menu at the top left of the 3D view. Each has its own engine, gearbox and drivetrain, and the startup sequence, driving lab and fault cases follow how that car actually works.

Explore the library, select a part in 3D, or pull the assembly apart with the slider. A selected part is shown in place, with the rest of the car faded; “Inspect alone” lets you orbit it independently. Remove parts, then press Start car to see what each one does, or try Find the fault to diagnose a hidden failure.

The body, wheels, lights and (where the model has them) the brakes, cabin and running gear come from a detailed third-party 3D model of each car. The engine, gearbox, cooling, suspension and exhaust are simplified reconstructions fitted to it, with illustrative placement. Repeated parts such as the four wheels are grouped. It is an educational exploration, not a repair guide or manufacturer CAD model.
